DNA: The space between

The space between originated from the lucky encounter between Elisa Pagani, choreographer of DNA, the musician and composer Valentino Corvino and Cittadellarte Fondazione Pistoletto. The choreographic project intends to interrogate a new humanity, an alternative reinterpretation of the vital human crossing, triggering Third Paradise, a place and time of balanced connection between artifice and nature. “Third Paradise means the transition to an unprecedented stage of planetary civilization, indispensable for ensuring the survival of mankind. To this end, it is first of all necessary to reform the ethical principles and behaviors that guide common life.” (Michelangelo Pistoletto) The global vision imposed by the pandemic and the historical period that generated it invites us to imagine and encourage the role of the human being as a guardian, aiming at a culture of encounters that gives life to a trinamic rethinking of the living common, in a socially and ecologically renewable direction. The symbol and functioning of the Third Paradise enclose and regenerate all diversities and antinomies, including nature and technology, you and me, health and disease, male and female, individual and society. Just as synthesis is generated in the encounter between thesis and antithesis, so two apparently antithetical elements find harmony in the central space, generating rebirth and a fluid and all-encompassing continuation.

A political work on the body and the declaration of individuality, which intends to analyse and reveal the imperceptible driving forces that move people and society. A crumbling and sinking of the objective dimension in search of the manifestation of the invisible.
