
Graduated in History and Philosophy at the University of Bologna (Title of his thesis: Bodies. Reflections on the body and power starting from Merleau-Ponty and Foucault, 2012; Une subjectivité aux aguets. Activity and passivity in the philosophy of the body by Maine de Biran, 2015), teacher of the Feldenkrais®️ method according to the perspective of Eilat Almagor, for years he has combined his passion for educational relationships with a taste for research, investigating the connections between movements and thoughts at the crossroads of anthropology, nature excursions and poetic words.
Gianmaria Beccari is the creator and curator of Passeggiate Filosofiche®️, philosophical walks created in the summer of 2015 aimed at spreading philosophy outside the classrooms, rooting dialogue and listening in historical sites and nature reserves – as well as in parks, gardens and places often without a name but rich in beauty. From these a series of residential workshops has also flourished (Che il passo sia leggero. Pratiche per un’aggressione poetica).
Creator and interpreter of various projects located at the intersection of art (especially music, theater and dance), nature and philosophy, including: Around the Wild. On the trail of Thoreau, McCandless and Eddie Vedder; DYLANIANA; Philosophy of Dance. Paul Valéry and Pina Bausch; Anatomy of Disquiet. Philosophical-musical digressions in the company of Chatwin and Dante; since autumn 2016 he has collaborated with the Italian Environment Fund and the Mental Health Department of the AUSL of Imola; Among the most mature fruits of this synergy we can mention the play In un momento, inspired by the life and work of the poet Dino Campana.
