DNA Dance Company was founded in Bologna in 2013 by Elisa Pagani.
Since then, the company has been working nationally and internationally, weaving together artistic productions, educational and community projects of a diverse scale and nature.
In order to support that, DNA developed over the years flourishing collaborations with different Italian and foreign realities, among which:
- Scenario Pubblico – Compagnia Zappalà Danza,
- FND – Aterballetto,
- Napoli Teatro Festival,
- Centro per l’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci,
- Florence Dance Festival,
- Radialsystem – Sasha Waltz and guests,
- Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (UK),
- Northern School of Contemporary Dance (UK),
- BIG STORIES (ES), MAST (Bologna)
- Cittadellarte Fondazione Pistoletto.
DNA since 2016 holds the direction of D.R.OP. – Dance Research Opportunityan on-stage professional training program structured as a youth company.
Nel 2022 entra a far parte delle compagnie sostenute dal MIC – Ministero della Cultura ed ottiene il sostegno della Regione Emilia-Romagna.
