Kate is a dancer born in the north-east of England.
She trained under the CAT program in Newcastle and then completed her BA (Hons) Professional Dance Practice Course at Dance City, Newcastle.
She worked for Matthew Bourne’s Re: Bourne company in the production of “Lord of the Flies” in 2014 and for Tavaziva as an apprentice in January 2016 for the spring tour of “Africarmen”.
Her studies continued with the company Verve 17. She took part in several productions created by Carlos Pons Guerra, Matthias Sperling and James Cousins.
She worked with Southpaw company on numerous projects: “Rush” (2017 and 2018) and “Erimus” (2018) as a dancer, “Carousel” (2018) and “Icarus” (2018) as rehearsal and tour director.
She moved to Italy in 2019 and started working with Compagnia Iris in the projects “Su i nostri volti silvani” and “VAV La giusta distanza” in 2020, “Quando faccio silenzio” in 2021 (presented at WAM! Festival 2021). She took part in the Free Event for F1 “Ferrari1000” at Mugello. His first solo creation for Pilbeam Dance “MEmoires” was presented at WAM! Festival 2021.
She currently works as a freelance dancer, choreographer, and teacher. She performs in Italy and in the UK and has undertaken a professional training path in collaboration with ISTD.
