Unison itinerant practices open to all citizens – movement practices – at Piazza San Francesco.
with Silvia Gribaudi in IL CORPO DI BALLO
Organization by WAM! Festival originally from Anziano sarai tu! project
The first experience of UNISON PRACTICES IN TOWN begins on the morning of Saturday July 23rd with Silvia Gribaudi.
The project will continue Sunday July 24th at 6 pm together with Silvia Gribaudi, Franca Zagatti and Laura Moro.
In this workshop, we will play with irony and vitality to create a CORPS DE BALLET with the new meaning of COMMUNITY CORPS.
Normally, the corps de ballet moves in unison and synchrony, but in this workshop, we will enhance the body and its multiple variables, glorifying the beauty of contrasts within a collective corps.
What does it mean today to be a body and a community?
How to be a unison within a spontaneous action?
How to be a unison in a group made of individuals of different age, corporeality, rhythm, and energy?
How do bodies relate to places?
Can we understand each other even from a distance? How?
We look forward to dancing together with you!
The practices are open for people from 14 to 90 years old. Please wear clothing suitable for physical activity.
Workshops are free of charge, but it is necessary to reserve your spot at firstname.lastname@example.org
UNISON originates from Anziano sarai TU! project, founded in 2021 in collaboration with the city of Faenza and the artists Silvia Gribaudi, Laura Moro, and Franca Zagatti. The goal of the project was to respond to the time suspension and forced distances of recent years. Initially designed for the over 60s, it is now open to other age groups (from 14 to 90 years old) to experiment with them new ways of socializing and meeting through a collective performative path.
