She is a dance scholar and artist who’s been promoting a plural and inclusive vision of dance for years. She also carries out extensive research around the topics of educational and community dance and training for educators, dance teachers, dancers, performers.
She is director of Danzeducatore®, a dance education training course at Mousikè Centre in Bologna. She is also president of DES – National Association of Dance Education Society. She is the author of numerous essays and monographs. She was an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Education and Dams at the University of Bologna from 2000 to 2013.
