DESCRIPTION:INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM OF CERAMICS – FAENZA\nContemporary dance performance at MIC \nM.M.M (Met.Meet.Melt) is the first artistic project of Collettivo Os and involves the creation of different gestures and sounds with the aim of creating a work made of different words\, of silences\, of absences\, of unions. \nWhat can I see? Where are my eyes?  \nI hardly breath\, in the distressing black\, the unknown. \nplease turn on the light for me. \nlet me glimpse\, let me understand. \nI swallowed my own desires and placed them close to yours. \nI hear the things you do not say\, \na Midnight sun. \nwhat darkness scares us if we have love beside us? \nwe are a group of words\, pronounced and held \nsuspended\, turned off. \nplease turn on the light for me. \nlet a new glow be and may the night not fall upon our living eyes. \n“the poetry of the encounter\, barely escaped. the ties that return\, horizontal hugs. hands kissing\, silent kisses\, naked eyes.”  \nM.M.M aims at investigating the dimension of the encounter\, meditating on expectations\, “on the anxiety of expectation”\, on what happens to bodies before an encounter\, on how to prepare for the other person: “what comes first? before a kiss\, before a date\, before a dance? what is the behind the scenes of love? \nThe structure of the performance is a game of images and actions that try to restore universally recognizable everyday sensations. It has been divided into three macro-sections: Wait\, Love\, Separation/Memory. Their musical correspondences are Tension\, Opening\, Memory/Enchantment. The scene is not meant to be a duality of music and dance. Dance and music take place at the same time\, independent but together. The performance will not be made by dancers but by dancing voices\, moving words\, gestures that sound in perfect tones. In the scenic studio\, light plays an important role\, which will often be the protagonist\, another voice in the entire creation. Dance\, sound\, and lights will gather to best show memories and suggestions. The different rhythms will refer to multiple meanings and visions. \nAmong the many questions that arise and lead to an inexhaustible flow of more questions\, the very conception of art lies among them\, considered here as a self-awareness process where small sprouts of consciousness awake. \n…So\, what is the function of reality in the world of the visible imagination? What is the boundary between idea and act\, scene\, and real world? Doesn’t everything happen at the exact moment life begins and ends? Everything is already happening. The choreographic project intends to interrogate a new humanity\, an alternative reinterpretation of the vital human crossing\, triggering Third Paradise\, a place and time of balanced connection between artifice and nature. “Third Paradise means the transition to an unprecedented stage of planetary civilization\, indispensable for ensuring the survival of mankind. To this end\, it is first of all necessary to reform the ethical principles and behaviors that guide common life.” (Michelangelo Pistoletto) The global vision imposed by the pandemic and the historical period that generated it invites us to imagine and encourage the role of the human being as a guardian\, aiming at a culture of encounters that gives life to a trinamic rethinking of the living common\, in a socially and ecologically renewable direction. Festival 2023\, Fatti d’arte organized an exhibition at Fontanone in Faenza that refers to the exhibition and urban regeneration project Summer perspective for Fontanone\, an artistic project designed to reconnect people to their territory and to the dreamlike evocations linked to the area of Romagna.  \nThe exhibition will be presented in three different places that make up the structure of Fontanone: the roundabout with its monumental sculpture\, a mystical presence to welcome wayfarers\, memory of sphinxes and basilisks\, protectors of passages and treasures\, creators of existential puzzles for the continuation of the journey of life. \nIn the entrance room there will be an exhibition of works dedicated to the myths and legends of Romagna and its surroundings\, accompanied by stratagems and tricks to protect its inhabitants from savage creatures. \nFinally\, thanks to a performance/social experiment that will take place in the internal garden\, participants will be able to experience a return to the origins of an ancient arcane Romagna in person and in a playful way\, in addition to music\, wines and vegetarian food. \nCONTEXT: A summer perspective for Fontanone 2023 is a festival of exhibitions by artists from the area but not only\, which will take place during the summer months of June\, July\, August and will end at the beginning of September with Made In Italy. For the second year\, the project will reach its climax thanks to the installation by Alessandro Turoni during WAM! Festival 2023.   \nLOCATION: The perspective or Fontanone\, as it is commonly called by the people of Faenza\, constitutes the architectural setting at the end of one of the most important avenues of the city\, the Stradone. The general layout of Viale Stradone dates to 1816. It remained until the middle of the last century as a bumpy track in clay court with Ailanthus trees.   \nThe current arrangement\, with the central roadway raised from the two side avenues regularly planted with plane trees\, dates to 1860. The perspective was built in the summer of 1824\, on the site where there was already a reservoir of water from the ancient aqueduct\, using one of the two winning projects\, under the construction supervision of Pietro Tomba. The works were carried out by the companies of the two master builders Paolo Fattori and Gaetano Petronici. The perspective had inside a Kaffeehaus-type room for coffee and soft drinks. It was frequented on holidays and summer afternoons as a meeting point for aristocracy and upper middle-class families\, who exhibited their most luxurious carriages\, leaving from Porta Imolese to return from Porta Montanara crossing the main square.     \nGOALS: enhancing the artistic and cultural heritage of Faenza through exhibitions and events and contamination between various types of art: visual art\, music\, installations\, etc. with outstanding guests and networking through collaborations between local associations. We brought together artists\, guests and important personalities who oversee artistic associations and venues\, museums and poles of interest. My daily ritual is disintegrated\, searching for a base to stand on. I often find myself navigating in a kind of sidereal space\, in which I know I cannot place any certainty (Manfredi Perego) \nLike a fallen deity who no longer knows who he is\, who no longer recognises himself in any place or creed. The choreography exhibits a god unrecognisable in the present\, concrete in history\, living energy but expired in an unidentified limbo. Powerful mute drum resounds at times. The performer falls into the most enigmatic silence of a new\, endless search for himself. \nTotemica wants to be the physical and emotional testimony of this situation\, in which one inhabits a dispersed sacredness devoid of footholds. \nM. DESCRIPTION:Contact Improvisation at Piazza Rampi \nBy Nica Portavia \nResearch for shared spaces \nHow to build a shared space? \nAre there boundaries? \nWhat practices and strategies can we use to build together new ways of exchange and meeting? \nHow many possible relationships can we create with space? And with the others? \nResearch for shared spaces is a performance-laboratory\, it is a moment of exploration of ourselves in relation to what surrounds us and to others. It means creating and transforming space\, living it in the present\, creating constellations of unexpected and inevitable relationships.  \nThere will be no marked border between ‘being inside and being outside’\, between those who participate and those who observe. It will be a becoming of events that takes place because there is listening\, presence\, perceiving oneself as part of a whole that we move together. \nWe will use the tools of dancing\, Contact Improvisation and elements of Underscore\, a dance improvisation framework created by Nancy Stark Smith which incorporates Contact Improvisation into the wider arena of improvised dancing practice. \nThanks to Underscore\, we will create a common language that will guide us through this metamorphosis game.

In constant proximity\, as part of a single anatomy\, humans and flags emerge from a thick darkness\, becoming the only propulsive motor of images. Silvery grey\, the flags are cleansed of signs and symbols\, brought to their plastic essence. A zero point without connotations in which everything can emerge\, begin or disappear. As if belonging to a near or remote past\, spectral figures take form through a score of unveilings\, evoking a close and ancient brotherhood between two textile objects\, flag and shroud. The title takes two words that can be graphically overlapped and merged into a single term: Ara—AeReA. The first one\, Ara\, alludes to the place that in ancient times was dedicated to the sacrifice\, here understood as a death-generating mechanism\, inflicted as a gift on those invested with the highest power. Each of us is a supreme dogma to himself; no theology protects its god as we protect our self; and if we assail this self with doubts and call it into question\, we do so only be a pseudo-elegance of our pride: the case is already won.”  \n “How to escape the absolute of oneself? One would have to imagine a being without instincts\, without a name\, and to whom his own image would be unknown. But everything in the world gives us back our own features; night itself is never dark enough to keep us from being reflected in it.
